Discover Flying Packages

   When your special someone has a dream of flying or a dream of flying larger, faster airplanes. Allow them to discover the thrill of flying in their favorite Aero-Tech fun-mobile with a Discover Flying Package.

   Our basic introductory flight.  An hour long escape with 1/2 hour above buildings and tall trees. Let us introduce your special someone to flying in our factory new 2-place Evektor Sportstar.  After the flight, your recipient may spend  time talking with a seasoned flight instructor about the possibility of learning to fly.       

Sport Discovery Package

   An adventure for the young or the young at heart. Package includes a gift wrapped You Can Fly Book to open on their special day, plus 1 full hour at the controls of a factory new 2-place Evektor Sportstar.  The You Can Fly Book is filled with beautiful photos and information that pilot-wannabes want to know about starting in aviation.  Traditionally, this is our best selling gift package.       

Sport Plus Discovery Package

   Includes a gift wrapped You Can Fly Book to open on their special day plus a 1/2 hour at the controls of a factory new 4-Place C172 to discover the thrill of flight.  This is no ride, your recipient will start the engine, taxi, takeoff, talk to air traffic control and learn basic flight maneuvers over beautiful downtown Lexington before assisting the instructor in landing.    

Cessna Discovery Package

   The Cirrus Discovery Package includes a gift certificate for a 1/2 hour at the controls of a factory new SR22 G3.  The Cirrus is the most popular selling aircraft today with the Avidyne avionics systems and whole airplane parachute. Recipients must possess at least a student pilot certificate.

    The Complex Discovery Package allows your special pilot to discover flying higher and faster in retractable gear aircraft. Includes a gift wrapped Arrow Operating Handbook to open on their special day plus a gift certificate for a 1/2 hour at the controls of our Piper Arrow.  Recipients must possess at least a student pilot certificate.

    Twice the fun with multi engine. Allows your special pilot to discover flying with two engines. Includes a gift wrapped Complete Multi-Engine Book to open on their special day plus a gift certificate for a 1/2 hour at the controls of our Piper Aztec. The flight is thirty minutes in duration and is a perfect way to see if adding a multi engine rating should be the next step! Recipients must possess at least a student pilot certificate.

WINGS Packages for Pilots 
   Does your special someone already have a pilot certificate? The FAA has announced a new FAA Pilot Proficiency WINGS Award. Yes, we have a FAASTeam member on staff. Keep your loved one safe with a recurrent training package. Includes a completion certificate suitable for framing.

Basic WINGS

   Let your pilot be one of the first in the area to receive a FAA new-WINGS Pilot Proficiency Award. Package includes 2-1.5 hours dual flight scenarios in a C-172, 1-hour dual ground, a guided tour of the new FAA WINGS program and, with the help of our own FAA appointed Safety Team Member, a complimentary personal profile setup.   

Complex WINGS

   Package includes 2-1.5 dual flight scenarios in a retractable gear Piper Arrow, 1-hour dual ground, an Arrow Operating Handbook, an FAA complex aircraft endorsement (if needed) a guided tour of the new FAA WINGS program and, with the help of our own FAA appointed Safety Team Member, a complimentary personal profile setup. Combine your WINGS with a complex aircraft endorsement. Note: this package may or may not complete all requirements for a complex endorsement depending on pilot's experience and credentials. 

Cirrus WINGS

  Package includes 2-1.5 dual flight scenarios in a Cirrus SR22, 1-hour dual ground, a guided tour of the new FAA WINGS program and, with the help of our own FAA appointed Safety Team Member, a complimentary personal profile setup. Combine your WINGS with a Cirrus checkout. Note: this package may or may not complete all requirements for a Cirrus checkout depending on pilot's experience and credentials. 

GPS WINGS

   Package includes 2-1.5 dual IFR GPS flight scenarios in a C-172, 3-hours dual ground covering IFR-GPS operations, a guided tour of the new FAA WINGS website and, with the help of our own FAA appointed Safety Team Member, a complimentary personal profile setup. Combine your WINGS with a GPS checkout.
