Frank Allen,
Check Instructor, G-1000 Expert, LEX Students really enjoy Frank's easy-going teaching style. It's simple: Safety first, checklist and trim. Frank's playful mantra can often be
heard: "Don't sweat the small stuff - take care of the important stuff." On the more serious side, Frank also lavishes praise on students when they reach a high standard. "I love
taking a stressed-out guy who's lost the jazz - and show him how to get it back - and how to make it fun."." With great people and exciting planes - it's easy to do.
|
|
|
Kris Blasius, Check Instructor, Bonanza Expert, LEX "I know how important it is that a pilot FEEL confident and
comfortable. I dedicate 110% to my students, so they can go where they want and do what they wish as pilots. My greatest reward as an instructor is to see my students reach their
goals. I'm happy to be working at a great place that gives the instructors the tools and resources that we need to make the very best, safest pilots anywhere." Kris has recently passed the ATP
knowledge exam with an impressive score. Congratulations Kris.

Mickey Delo, A&P LOU We chose Mickey from a large stack of resumes. His credentials and more than 10 years of experience, working on
every kind of general aviation are impressive, but also, he's just FUN to work with. "I love tinkering on planes. My favorite words are, "it's fixed this time, you won't have any more trouble." Mickey's smile is permanent - he looks like this all day, everyday. "I chose to work at Aero-Tech because of the wide range of aircraft
this shop sees. The technicians here are well trained and the Boss keeps us on our toes - I'm proud to be part of this team."

Howard Crawford, Line, K24 Howard loves every aspect of aviation. He
recently sold his C-310, which he rebuilt, replacing it with a new project: a C-210. He can call out airplane statistics and trivia facts at a glance. As a pilot, he enjoys flying and just
hanging out with pilots. He says that his experience has taught him how to run an efficient line department and to help pilots and passengers get to where they want to be - quickly.

Lori Dubarry, Dispatch, LOU Lori is our bright and delightful
student-cheerleader. She attends the University of Louisville full-time and is working toward a Private Pilot certificate. Lori works part-time as a dispatcher - in fact, she has been with us
since we opened the Louisville facility. Lori has a twin sister who is equally enthusiastic about flying and about our students. We feel lucky to have Lori as part of our family. While working
at Aero-Tech, Lori met Aero-Tech flight instructor Levi White. They will marry this summer. ...ah, love blooms at Aero-Tech, again.
|
|
|
Brian Fortney, Expert Instructor LOU Brian started with Aero-Tech as a student
pilot working on his Private Pilot certificate. Today he has grown into a hardworking instructor, helping his students through their training program. Brian began his adult life in another
professional career - but fell in love with the skies, planes and people of aviation. He is an inspiration to anyone who is not 100% happy in a current career situation and is looking for the
courage to make a change. "I feel happy all the time I'm at work. This is a supportive and nurturing place to work and to learn."

Patty Hadley,
Administrative Assistant, K24 "The people are what's its all about ... the people here are awesome!" Originally from Cincinnati, OH, Patty was bought in to keep the maintenance department
organized and under control. "I feel fortunate that the people I work with are true professionals who care about not just the planes they work on but the people who will be riding in those
planes." Patty just purchased a new house where she lives with her dog and mom.

Chuck Hunt, Maintenance Supervisor, IA, LOU Chuck is a very special human being that makes you feel warm-and-fuzzy just being
around him. Chuck has been in aviation all his live and has more than 40 years experience in all aspects of aviation maintenance. If is breaks - he can fix it. If it doesn't work right -
he can diagnose it. And if it needs a unique part - he will seek it out and buy it right. This man delights in the smallest detail of perfection. In his shop you will commonly hear "make
it right and by golly get it right the first time." Chuck and his family transferred from Santa Claus, IN to work with us.
|
|

|
Jeff Leach,
A&P K24 We transplanted Jeff, his family and horses from Panama City, FL to work with us. We fell in love with his easy going style immediately. Jeff loves to tease and cut up
during breaks, but on the job, he's intent and methodical. Jeff's tool box is the largest in all the land - the right tool for everything and everything neatly placed in it's special
spot. Overtime? "No problem", says Jeff, "I'm here until the job is done." Jeff is working on his IA and hope to have it complete soon. Att-a-boy Jeff!

Paul Lucas, Instructor, LEX Paul first started flying with Aero-Tech at the age
of 11. He worked for several summers as a dispatcher and today he is a flight instructor working toward an aviation degree. He attends Purdue University, but returns home each summer and on
breaks to instruct at his favorite flight school. Aero-Tech, of course - "... I just always keep coming back to Aero-Tech." According to Paul, "learning to fly isn't difficult, but it does
require discipline. Its my job to help make the learning curve as easy and fun as possible."

|
Charlie Monette, Pilot Examiner, LEX Our founder
and President is an active Training Center instructor for recurrent training programs. Its normal for him to fly a Lancair, a Duke, a Malibu and a Saratoga all in a single days work. "I
believe that flying should be safe, fun and it should be easy." It doesn't matter if you're piloting a 172 or a Piper Malibu - the basics of being a good aviation citizen are the
same. Charlie is an ATP and FAA designated pilot examiner. When he's not at the airport, Charlie enjoys sailing and snow skiing - and when you live in KY that's a very good
reason to be a pilot. See Charlie's full resume.

|
Joe McCullough,
Instructor, LEX "I'm so happy as an instructor that I pinch myself everyday! I don't really feel I go 'to work' - this is fun. Maybe I'll fly with the airlines one day, but for now I
love teaching and want all my students to love flying as much as I do." Joe specializes in our accelerated and Fast Track Career programs, and spends much of his ""free-time" hanging out at the
airport, helping students to launch their aviation goals in the shortest amount of time. "There's no place I'd rather be," says Joe. We hired Joe away from Oregon to fly with our customers.
|
|
|
Jeff Mehling,

"goooood job!"s. "I want every lesson to be a knowledge-filled trip for my customer! There is no better place to fly than at Aero-Tech. I chose to work here over

Valerie Salven, Ground Instructor, LEX Valerie earned her ratings at
Aero-Tech. She is most famous as a featured author published many times in Plane & Pilot Magazine. Valerie's most memorable flight was to Key West. She hopes to make
flying fun and easier for students by teaching practical applications to information. Valerie authors some of our simulator curriculums. Her curriculums are unique to allow pilots to "do

Tim Talton, Senior & Check Instructor, LOU
Few students ever get the opportunity to fly with such an exceptional instructor. Tim brings flying down to earth in simple terms that anyone can understand. He is fun to fly
with but tough to impress. Tim works for UPS and instructs Aero-Tech students part-time. But even on a part-time schedule, he puts in alot of flying each week. Students tell
us that they learn a great deal in one hour with Tim. His experience and maturity make him a natural check-airman. Tim is also an A & P and has recently earned an MBA from
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
