Customers Speak

I want to thank you for the excellent flight instruction I have.received over the years from you. I thought our last recurrent work was the best yet. I was astounded when, at the beginning, you asked me what I thought I needed. Then we addressed those areas.
Thank you,
Barry Morris,

 Scenic Flights and Unique Gifts

Flying in Kentucky is terrific. Scenic landscape. Beautiful weather. Experience it all as our pampered guest.

But these flights are not rides, you will taxi an aircraft to the runway, call out the final checklist, push the throttle in and pull the yoke back. Takeoff on an exciting adventure with you at the controls ... Or maybe...

Give the gift of flight to a friend!

Discovery Flight

Our discovery flight is an hour long adventure for all ages, in which you will experience all the different aspects of flight.

Upon arrival, you will be assigned a personal FAA Certificated flight instructor who will walk you through each step a pilot does before, during and after a typical flight. This is not a ride.  You sit in the pilot seat.  You actually fly the aircraft.  You will taxi, talk to the control tower for takeoff clearance, takeoff, and once airborne, perform many in-flight maneuvers.  Of course, your instructor will be sitting right beside you each step of the way. This is an adventure for the top-gun at heart.  Your flight time is about 20-30 minutes as you join the elite few who have actually piloted an aircraft.

Kids Flight

For our young aviators (less than 15 years old) we offer a unique KidsFlight.  Your KidsFlight package includes: a preflight inspection of the airplane along with an explanation of the flight instruments and a fun introduction to aerodynamics. Use of an aviation headset/microphone to communicate in the plane listen to air traffic control throughout the flight.

Your aviator will sit in the left seat for a hands-on lesson on how to taxi, an assisted takeoff and instruction in the four fundamentals of flight from our FAA certificated flight instructor. A special Certificate of Accomplishment and a digital photo in front of the airplane upon landing. Makes a great gift.  Parents and guardians are welcome to join in. We have found however, that much of the thrill of this adventure lies in our young cadets experiencing it by themselves and sharing it with you later.

Price $120 (C-172) Child+1 guardian

Father's Day Flight

Our Father's Day Flight is a great adventure, including a 30 minute flight where Dad gets to actually fly the airplane under the direction of an FAA Certificated Flight Instructor.

We will put Dad in the pilot seat - but this is not a ride!   He will actually fly the aircraft.  Of course, our instructor will be sitting right beside Dad to help him feel like a real top-gun pilot.  Be sure to bring your camera. A special viewing area will be set up for families to watch Dad takeoff and land.  Your cost includes a certificate, suitable for framing, in honor of Dad's courage and skill.

Price: $99. No passengers. Flights offered only in June.

Elinor Smith Flight

In 1928, Elinor Smith flew under four Manhattan bridges at the age of 17. The Mayor grounded her for 10 days. This flight is uniquely tailored for women as flighty as Elinor. No, we won't be flying under any bridges, but you will fly in a modern airplane, with an FAA certificated flight instructor, who will give you a guided lesson and a breathtakingly beautiful flight.

If you are a lady with a sense of adventure, you will sit in the pilot seat and actually fly.  This hour long adventure includes 20-30 minutes flight and a digital photo of you in the pilot seat - thumbs-up, or course!

Price: For flighty women-$99. No passengers.
Flights offered only in August.
