      At Aero-Tech, learning to fly an airplane is not hard. People from all walks-of-life are certificated pilots. More than 700,000. Aero-Tech graduates about 100 private pilots each year.

     The private pilot certificate permits you to carry passengers on non-commercial flights, to fly anywhere you want, in good weather, during day or night. You will train in single-engine land airplanes. But with additional training you can fly in any weather, to fly commercially and fly multi-engine aircraft.

     You may learn to fly in a factory-new Cessna Skyhawk or in a factory-new Evektor light sport aircraft.  We make learning to become a private pilot far more fun, convenient and affordable than you ever dreamed it could be. Flight training for women is our specialty!

     The private pilot certificate will generally cost around $8,000 and may take as little as four weeks of full-time study to 6 months or longer if training part time.  Stop in and visit Aero-Tech to receive a complimentary tour, information and a complete cost breakdown. You should be at least 15 years old at the start or 17 years old before graduation, and be in good physical condition.  You must be able to read, understand and speak the English language.

30-Day Accelerated
INITIAL PRIVATE PILOT SEL TRAINING PACKAGE

   You may enroll in private pilot training at anytime, however we offer a Private Pilot Accelerated Training Package between March and December. All accelerated program are conducted at the Aero-Tech Lexington, KY location.

   Aero-Tech uses a unique blend of high-tech, state-of-the-art equipment and high-touch teaching philosophies.  Unique flight missions and scenarios replace hours of old-fashioned repetitive maneuvers practice.  As a result, our average Private Pilot graduates with 47 hours of flight training. This is about half the national average.

FLIGHT PACKAGE:  $6,669.  Includes 40 hours flight in 2-place Evektor Sportatar aircraft, including fuel, plus an additional 20 hours with a flight instructor teaching assistant in ground briefings, 10 hours in our full-motion filght training device and . Also budget $350 for the FAA practical exam and 6% KY sales tax, not included.  (Upgrade to our 4-place, factory new 172 airplane for an additional $1,290)

GROUND PACKAGE: $579. Includes 60-day access to our unique on-line resource center plus required ground training materials. (Ground package not sold separately) FAA physical exam and personal supplies not included.

10-Day Accelerated
SPORT PILOT AIRPLANE UPGADE TO PRIVATE PACKAGE

    As a certificate Sport Pilot, you may enroll to upgrade priviledges to a Private Pilot training at anytime. Sport pilots wishing to upgrade will require at least a Class III FAA Medical Certificate, at least 9 hours of flight training, pass the FAA Private Pilot Knowledge Exam and Checkride.

   Aero-Tech offers the Private Pilot Upgrade in either he Evektor Sportstar LSA or the C-172. We use a unique blend of high-tech, state-of-the-art equipment and high-touch teaching philosophies.  Unique flight missions and scenarios replace hours of old-fashioned repetitive maneuvers practice.  As a result, our sport pilots upgrading to Private Pilot will find training enjoyable - we don't treat you as a student.

     Aero-Tech provides flight and ground training for a private pilot at the Blue Grass Airport in Lexington, KY. This is a Class "C" airport, having an operating control tower, radar, emergency fire and rescue and other services. Class B airspace is only 50 miles away and Class G is easily assessable, providing you with a complete training program.
