Aero-Tech's multi-engine rating program adds multi privileges to your existing Private Pilot or Commercial Pilot Certificate. This 4 day course provides two or more FTD sessions, two training flights
between 1.5 and 2.0 hours each, and the use of the aircraft for your practical exam.
Aero-Tech will send you our training materials before training begins to get a head-start in
becoming familiar with multi-engine aerodynamics, aircraft systems, checklist procedures, flight maneuvers, weight & balance, and the practical test oral review.
Visit the school to receive a complimentary tour and a complete cost breakdown. You should be at least 18 years old and be in good physical condition. You must
be able to read, understand and speak the English language. Additionally, you must possess at lease a private pilot certificate.

Examiner on Staff
- Our on-staff Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE) is familiar with our standardized training procedures. This
relationship ensures a low-stress practical exam, for which you will be extremely well prepared.

Itinerary
Day 1
- 9AM Check-In will include your logbook and qualification review and course payment.
- Ground Training, includings a review of the Practical Test Standards,
airplane manuals, and training materials, which should be studied prior to your arrival.
- Full Motion Multi-Engine Flight Training Device Session of about 1.5 hours will allow you to become comfortable with the FTD and review basic attitude instrument flying and instrument approaches.
Days 2 & 3
- Two Full Motion Multi-Engine Flight Training Device Sessions of about 1.5 hours each will include a review of basic attitude instrument flying, instrument approaches, and engine-out procedures and emergencies.
- Multi-Engine Flight Training, consisting of a training flight of about 2.0 hours.
Day 4
- FAA Multi-Engine Practical Exam. Prior to your flight check, your instructor will review your application paperwork and answer any final questions you may
have. The FAA Multi-Engine Practical Exam will take approximately 5 total hours with the examiner.
Cost & Payment
- A non-refundabvle deposit of $500 is required to reserve your training slot and our resources.
- Full payment is due upon arrival, before training begins. Acceptable forms of payment are: MasterCard, Visa, cash, cashier's check, money order, certified
check, and traveler's checks. Personal and company checks are not accepted.
- The examiner's fee is not included in the training cost. The examine's fee is $400 and is payable directly to the examiner in cash only. (No checks)
