Customers Speak

I want to thank you for the excellent flight instruction I have.received over the years from you. I thought our last recurrent work was the best yet. I was astounded when, at the beginning, you asked me what I thought I needed. Then we addressed those areas.
     Thank you,
     Barry Morris,

 Garmin G-1000 Training

g-1000 sm

An FAA
Industry Training Standard

Private or Instrument Training.
If you are currently working on a certificate and would like to transition into the glass cockpit from the traditional cockpit, you can do it.  You can learn to fly in the G-1000 glass cockpit aircraft.  Just let the Chief know, she'll tell you where in the curriculum it makes the most sense to make the transition.

Transition Training.
Aero-Tech's exciting G-1000 Transition Training accommodates pilots at any certificate level and with varied levels of flight experience.  This course is an FAA Industry Training Standard - FITS.  Through the use of scenario-based training and the FITS high-level curriculum, we train pilots to safely operate a technically advanced aircraft (TAA), such as the Skyhawks and Skylanes found at Aero-Tech.

Combine your transition training with a flight review, IPC or WINGS.

Instructor Training.

Train in the G-1000 for your flight instructor certificate and use this opportunity to learn all about instructing in the latest technology. Flight instructors, renew or reinstate your CFI using the G-1000 and upgrade your renewal to include new skills guaranteed to make you money.

Scenario-Based Training.

Our Chief, Arlynn, wrote the book on scenario-based training and we use scenarios to train pilots, rather than traditional task based training.  Scenario-based training teaches higher thinking skills to be a safe pilot.

Training Materials.
Aero-Tech is proud to offer the Max Trescott Glass Cockpit Handbook (about $39), the Max Trescott CDs (about $99) and the King Schools Cleared to Fly the G-1000 CDs (about $249) to make the transition easy and fun.

The instructors at Aero-Tech are trained, excited and on stand-by to help you get comfortable in the new technology with free G-1000 Seminars. Be on watch for NEWS of our next upcoming seminar or email us for more information
