I want to thank you for the excellent flight instruction I have received over the years from you. I
thought our last recurrent work was the best yet. I was astounded when, at the beginning, you asked me what I thought I needed. Then
we addressed those areas. Thank you, Barry Morris, Aerostar Owner

As a flight and or
ground instructor, you will be responsible for teaching tomorrow's aviation citizens. Some pilots become instructors for the love of teaching. Others instruct to gain
experience. One thing is for sure - as an instructor you will have an office with a view, above average pay and a great deal of fun!
Ground Instructor: The Ground Instructor Certificate is completed in 2 consecutive weekends of classwork plus homework that is usually completed in
the week between. The Basic Ground Instructor is authorized to recommend knowledge exams for sport pilot, recreational pilot and private pilot. The Advanced Ground Instructor is
authorized to recommend all pilot knowledge exams.
Sport Instructor: The Certified Sport Instructor is completed in 2 weeks of full-time
training. The Sport Instructor is not required to possess either an instrument rating or a commercial pilot certificate. However, the Sport Instructor is restricted to
teaching in Light Sport Aircraft.
CFI:
The Certified Flight Instructor is completed in 2 weeks of full-time training, or longer if training part time. Our excellent staff, with years of experience, prepare you for
the challenges of teaching.
CFII:
The Certified Flight Instructor of Instruments is an add-on to the CFI certificate. It is accomplished in 2 weeks of full-time training.
We help you to instruct a wider range of students.
MEI: The most advanced flight instructors teach in multi-engine aircraft. The Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI) may be added to a CFI or CFII. Twice the fun!

At Aero-Tech, you learn how to teach as well as what to teach. Of course, you may enroll in initial flight instructor training at Aero-Tech at anytime and pay the normal hourly rate. But several times each year the Chief teaches a special course for those who desire to be the Best of Breed. This is a unique opportunity to receive training from a seasoned flight instructor with decades of practical experience and 1,000's of successful graduates. This is an opportunity to train at an experienced school with a near-100% successful CFI signoff rate, and who cares about your success. If you are looking for good value for your time and money, we promise to show you what it takes to become a responsible and safe flight training professional. Classes are small. Seating is limited. Pre-registration required. Register Here
CLASSROOM GROUND PACKAGE: $1,399. Includes 40
hours group ground training in a classroom format. Class meets Fri 5PM-9PM, Sat and Sun 9AM-6PM over two consecutive weekends. The purpose of the ground package is to prepare lesson
plans, practice teaching and review aeronautical knowledge. Does not include the cost of FAA Knowledge Exams or training materials. A list of training materials (about $75, but you
probably already own most of them) and additional information will be emailed to you upon enrollment. (NOTE: If our class dates don't coincide with your schedule, ground training is
also available one-on-one at the normal hourly rate.)
FLIGHT PACKAGE: $3,999. Includes 10 hours dual in Piper Arrow, wet, (or 15 hours in LSA) 20 hours of of individual pre/post flight ground briefings. Also budget $500
for the FAA checkride, not included in cost. This is one-on-one instruction, outside of the ground training usually beginning during the week between weekend ground classes. Two
flights per day are normally scheduled. A staff instructor will familiarize you with our training aircraft and general proficiency, then the Chief will fly with you for final prep,
polish and pen for the practical exam.
IMPORTANT: Enrollments with paid deposits must be completed at least two weeks in advance of class start. This allows
you time to complete 20-hours of pre-course work to be accomplished at home. If we are to complete training in a short time, then we need you to do some review of prerequisite material
before arrival. ALSO INCLUDED: With either ground or flight package, 12 months of flight instructor mentoring from seasoned pro's.
