Teaching is very
rewarding. As an instructor, you will be responsible for teaching tomorrow's aviation citizens. Some pilots become instructors for the love of teaching. Others
instruct to gain experience. One thing is for sure - as a flight instructor you will have an office with a view, above average pay and a great deal of fun!
Sport Instructor Program: The
Certified Sport Instructor is completed in 2 weeks of full-time training. The Sport Instructor is not required to possess either an instrument rating or a commercial
pilot certificate. However, the Sport Instructor is restricted to teaching Sport Pilots in Light Sport Aircraft.
CFI Program: The
Certified Flight Instructor is completed in 2 weeks of full-time training. Our excellent staff, with years of experience, prepare you for the challenges of
teaching.
CFII Program: The Certified Flight Instructor of Instruments is an add-on to the CFI certificate. It is accomplished in 2 weeks of full-time training. We
help you to instruct a wider range of students.
MEI Program: The
most advanced flight instructors teach in multi-engine aircraft. The Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI) may be added to a CFI or CFII. The exams are extensive, but you fly
right them!

14-Day Accelerated INITIAL FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR and SPORT INSTRUCTOR TRAINING PACKAGE

Of course you may enroll in initial flight instructor training at Aero-Tech at anytime. But about 6 times each year the Chief teaches an accelerated initial
course for those who wish to be the Best of Breed. This is a unique opportunity to receive training from a seasoned flight instructor with decades of practical experience and
1,000's of successful graduates. This is an opportunity to train at an experienced school with a near-100% successful CFI signoff rate, and who cares about your
success. If you are looking for good value for your time and money, we promise to show you what it takes to become a responsible and safe flight training

- Weekend #1: Report to class Friday at 6PM and ends Sunday at 6PM. Your first weekend
is spent in classroom-style ground training to prepare lesson plans and learning to teach.
- Week #1: Return home during the week to complete 50 hours of assigned homework or stay
with us and jump start flying.
- Weekend #2: Return to class Friday 6 PM thru Sunday at 6PM to complete ground training,
practice teaching and review aeronautical knowledge.
- Week #2: Spend your second week in flight training and practice teaching. We'll
agree on your checkride schedule.
CFII add-on available the following week (week #3) MEI add-on available the week after (week #4).
CLASSROOM GROUND PACKAGE: $900. Includes 40 hours ground training in a classroom format. The purpose of the ground package is to prepare lesson plans, practice teaching and review aeronautical knowledge. Does not include costs of FAA Knowledge Exams or materials. A list of training materials (about $75, but you probably already own most of them) and additional information will be emailed to you upon enrollment. (NOTE: If our class dates don't coincide with your schedule, ground training is also available one-on-one at the normal hourly rate.)
FLIGHT PACKAGE: $3,400. Includes 10 hours dual in Piper Arrow, wet, (or 15 hours in LSA) 20 hours of of indiviual pre/post flight briefings. Also budget $500 for the FAA checkride, not included.
ALSO INCLUDED: With either ground or flight package, 12 Months of flight
instructor mentoring from seasoned pro's.

Sport Instructor Requirements
- Place a non-refundable $500 deposit to reserve your training slot.
- Maximum pilot weight 240 lbs.
- Be at least 18 years old
- Possess at least a Sport Pilot Certificate
- U.S. Driver License
- Read, speak, understand English
- A mature demeanor and a smiley-face
- A spin endorsement (or, ask about our spin training)
- ... No medical exam required
Sport Instructor Limitations
- Unless you hold at least a Private Pilot Certificate:
- No night instruction
- Instruct below 10,000 ft.
