The Aero-Tech Flight Instructor Refresher Clinic (FIRC) contains 16 hours of valuable classroom training conducted over two days, taught by two examiners with a
combined 75 years of instructing experience. This FIRC is unique for three reasons:
- Tailored to the sport category. Sport pilot is not a 1-hour module; it is the emphasis during all modules. Aircraft operations and
aerodynamics feature the Light Sport Aircraft (LSA), airspace is limited to information below 10,000' MSL. FARs and instructor responsibilities highlight Subpart J and K of Part 61,
etc.
- Scenario-based format. Renew your flight instructor certifcate in a scenario-based training format. Experience scenario-based training, first-hand.
- Emphasis is on how to teach. Seasoned pros give you tools you can use with your students, on your very next flight lesson.

WHY AN AERO-TECH FIRC We can handle the
paperwork to process your flight instructor certificate renewal on site. This saves you time and money - and hassle. At Aero-Tech, you don't have to make an appointment with the FAA,
drive to the FSDO, meet with an FAA inspector, present your identification and TSA security paperwork.
NOTE: Only flight instructors with certificates who have not
expired may renew on the basis of this FIRC. The FAA requires expired CFIs to pass a reinstatement practical test to renew.
