Choosing people to exceed our expectations so that we may exceed yours!

Aero-Tech has a 34-year tradition in providing exceptional flight instruction. Our current staff includes NAFI Master Instructors, FAA Safety Counselors and a handful of ATPs. They each hold advanced instructor ratings. Several have logged thousands of hours. They love to teach, love to fly and have pledged themselves as aviation-citizens.

Being hired as an instructor at Aero-Tech isn't easy. We recruit from around the country and from top aviation universities in search of the Top Guns. Candidates m172 Walk up smust pass comprehensive knowledge exams, exhausting oral exams and demanding flight checks presented by a Chief with over 25 years experience in hand-selecting top talent.

After hire, new instructors complete a unique 12-week CFI BOOT CAMP, working under the watchful eye of the Chief who checks for an upbeat demeanor, pleasant personality the ability to communicate positively with customers. They must demonstrate "people skills".

In BOOT CAMP, they learn company policies, procedures and airplanes. But before an instructor is allowed to teach customers in our aircraft, they must become expert on every system, every component and every nuance of each make-and-model. Even later, they must continue to pass annual flight checks with the Chief. BOOT CAMP also gives the new instructor the opportunity to "shadow" our most elite instructors; observing training methods.

Aero-Tech flight instructors enjoy above average pay, paid vacation, paid holidays, paid uniform shirts, cosponsored health, vision and dental insurance, employee discounts and a unique path of advancement to make sure the instructor continues to grow as a professional and a person.

Not every instructor makes it. Frankly, we think that's OK. Succeeding at Aero-Tech requires more than just FAA certificates and flight proficiency. We select and train flight instructors with customers in mind. Our flight instructors are the people who equip our customers with important knowledge, airman skills and safety attitudes. We think that our customers deserve the best. We hope that one day you will be one of our customers.
